Dr. India King received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology with a focus in Health Psychology from Pacific University. She completed her doctoral internship at the White River Junction VA in Vermont and her postdoctoral fellowship at the Boise VA, with a focus on integrated primary care. She then joined the Boise VA’s Center of Excellence Primary Care Education, where she worked to develop and evaluate interprofessional educational innovations. Dr. King joined FMRI in 2018 and is Director of Behavioral Science at the FMRI Nampa Program. In this role she co-chairs the Nampa Residency Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee and manages the community outreach curriculum. Her professional interests include graduate medical and interprofessional education, population health and changing systems to address health care disparities, and primary care psychology. When she is not hard at work serving FMRI patients and the Nampa community or teaching, you can find her enjoying the outdoors mountain biking, backpacking, fly fishing, or exploring Idaho’s many alpine lakes!
