Casey Theriault, M.A. is a psychology intern at Pearl Health Clinic in Idaho Falls, ID. She is attending the APA accredited Kean University Psy.D. in Combined School and Clinical Psychology program which combines education and training across the two areas of practice, emphasizing diverse clinical and research experiences. Casey received a Master of Arts in Educational Psychology following completion of the second year of her doctoral program. At Pearl Health Clinic, Casey performs diagnostic assessments, psychological and neuropsychological testing, and psychotherapy for most ages and presenting concerns.

Casey has experience working in various clinical environments, including a hospital, school, and private neuropsychological clinic. Her primary clinical focus is on providing comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological evaluations to provide diagnostic clarification and appropriate recommendations for clients and their families. She has experience working with a wide range of presenting concerns, including various neurodevelopmental, mood, personality, and neurocognitive disorders.

Casey utilizes a cognitive behavioral approach to therapy, which focuses on how one’s thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and physiology interact to influence well-being and functioning. Casey will also use interventions from other therapeutic orientations to enhance the therapy process. Casey strives to foster a safe and trusting relationships with her clients so that they feel comfortable and confident working with her.

Casey was born and raised in northern New Jersey, moving to Idaho Falls to complete her internship year. She completed her undergraduate work in Philadelphia at University of the Sciences (now St. Joseph’s University). In her free time, Casey enjoys spending time with her partner and cat, reading, listening to Taylor Swift, and watching her favorite sports teams’ games.
