Dr. Matt Ashton is a staff psychologist in the Counseling and Mental Health Center at Idaho State University. He currently serves as the center’s Biofeedback Coordinator and enjoys administering biofeedback services in addition to psychotherapy, outreach, and supervision. He completed a PhD in Counseling Psychology at Texas Tech University and a doctoral internship in Counseling and Psychological Services at Brigham Young University. He enjoys learning about Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, anxiety and OCD, in addition to psychophysiology, biofeedback, and college student development. Additionally, he enjoys watching his seven children grow as well as all the fruits and vegetables in his backyard garden.
