Liva Rigney, Ph.D, is a staff psychologist at Idaho State University’s Counseling and Mental Health Center (CMHC). She works with students at ISU using primarily Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Focused Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (FACT) approaches, and also maintains the CMHC web presence. Dr. Rigney completed her graduate training at ISU and has provided services in inpatient, institutional, and community settings. Specific interests include working with students identifying as LGBTQIA+, anxiety, and stress management skills development. She enjoys the outdoors, great books, and compulsive writing.
